Graham Mortgage Lending
Graham Mortgage has been a portfolio lender/investor supplying capital to the real estate industry for 31 years. Primarily lending in the Dallas/Fort Worth, area and the major cities of Texas. We no longer consider land or construction loans in the City of Austin because of the City government. We currently manage approximately $400 million in funds with $250 million in mortgages, approximately $35 million in finished single-family residential lots under contract to homebuilders, and the balance in retail, office, warehouse, and other commercial real estate and joint ventures from an earlier era of investing.
As a portfolio lender, Graham manages a large existing base of funds assembled from private funding sources. Because our emphasis is on mortgage loans and because we are not a mortgage broker or a bank, our advantages for borrowers include considerable flexibility, remarkable speed, great discretion in underwriting and relative simplicity in loan documentation and closing. Due to our deliberately private corporate status, Graham is unregulated and unsupervised by any federal or state regulatory agencies. We make about 100 loans a year with a staff of about 10 people, most of whom have been with the company many years. |
